ATLANTIC CITY, NJ — Atomic Lighting (Lititz, PA) provided gear to light the 53 contestants in the Miss America beauty pageant, which returned to Boardwalk Hall here Sept. 14 and was telecast on ABC. LD Allen Branton specified a rig that included two dozen Clay Paky Sharpy Wash fixtures controlled by grandMA consoles for the 88th
pageant. Felix Peralta and Kevin Lawson served as lighting directors and Laura Frank as the screens producer and media programmer for the event. A.C.T Lighting distributes Clay Paky and MA Lighting’s grandMA products in North America.
