GUATEMALA – The Frater is a modern multi-complex venue built on a site in San Cristobal, a few miles away from the city centre of Guatemala. The 50,000 sq.m building includes a main auditorium with 13.000 seats and the Frater is the largest man-made structure in the country. “ With 113.000 sqm site, 50.000 squm building the Frater is the largest Christian Church in central and South America. We worked hard” says Walter Moran head of the lighting project  “ but it’s important that everybody is happy with the achieved result. A special thanks goes to Fabiano Besio who supported us and to all the team who worked on this project.”

Miss Kansas Pageant Goes LED With Douglas Production Group and Chauvet

PRATT, KS – When the Miss Kansas 2015 pageant ended, the crew from Douglas Production Group received an unexpected surprise. The crew from The Texas Tenors, who performed at the event, left a note praising the show’s lighting director. For Kirk Longhofer, General Manager of DPG, it was not only flattering, it also represented validation of their decision to go with an LED rig made up primarily of Chauvet fixtures. “This was the first time we had nearly 100 percent LED lighting,” said Longhofer.

Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour in Madrid aided by Reidel Gear

 MADRID, Spain— Amid the high-flying tricks of the Red Bull X-Fighters World Tour stop at Madrid's Plaza de Toros de Las Ventas, Riedel Communications equipment provided the communications and signal management capabilities critical to an exciting, well-coordinated Freestyle Motocross event. On July 10, as more than 23,000 fans looked on, top professional freestyle riders impressed the fans with their tricks. The Red Bull production team used Riedel's Artist digital matrix intercom systems and MediorNet real-time signal distribution and management platform to produce and bring the spectacular live event to the world.

Brooklyn’s long-dormant vaudeville house and movie palace once again lights up as an ornate spectacle for the masses


BROOKLYN, New York - July 2015 -- Like a mythical phoenix reemerging from the ashes, Brooklyn’s Kings Theatre, a glorious French-influenced baroque style movie palace that first opened in 1929 as the Loew’s Kings Theatre and closed in 1977, recently roared back to life with a majestic concert by Diana Ross in February. Helping to illuminate the iconic singing diva’s every move and lift the aesthetic ambiance of the house were approximately one hundred new elektraLite 1018 Quad LED fixtures installed in January.
