LOS ANGELES – Acclaim Lighting is offering ART SSC users the added flexibility of being able to control larger, more demanding projects that require a greater number of inputs and outputs, with the new Art IO digital/analog expansion module. Designed for use with the ART SSC, the ART IO is an input/output interface module that is equipped with 8 digital/analog switchable inputs and 8 relay-switched digital outputs. For versatility, it supports a number of different protocols including DMX, RS-232, OSC, UDP and Art-Net.

The new Osram Ostar Stage LEDs from Osram Opto Semiconductors offer high luminance of 48 million candelas per square meter and tunable color tones from cold white to warm white. Combined with their low-profile design and glass cover with anti-reflective coating, they provide the basis for more compact spotlights with an extremely narrow beam. The Ostar Stage LEDs are targeted for use in moving head spotlights on stage, for booth lighting at trade fairs and for architectural lighting.

Jands designed its Stage CL console to meet the needs of those running small lighting rigs that include LED fixtures — without going overboard on price or complexity. Each of the 12 channels has a saturation encoder. Turn the dial, and a LED on the channel shows the color chosen, for single fixtures or groups.
