Charges Filed in Radiohead Staging Collapse

TORONTO — The Ontario Ministry of Labor, which has been investigating what led to the structural collapse that killed drum tech Scott Johnson, 33, on June 16, 2012, filed eight charges against Live Nation Canada Inc. and Live Nation Ontario Concerts GP Inc., four charges against Optex Staging & Services Inc., and a single charge against Domenic Cugliari, an engineer based in Bolton, ON, according to reports.

Daft Punk’s production house Daft Arts conceived and designed the space, described as a cross between Saturday Night Fever and Close Encounters Of The Third Kind. The dance floor, which resembled an LP record, comprised of 110 Martin LC Panels and 16 Martin LC Plus Panels.
