Aretha Franklin is honored on the MC15 and MC7 LED screens.NEW CASTLE, DE - Video equipment rental company Pete’s Big TVs provided high resolution LED video screens, two Barco 18K projectors, and monitors for the 2014 BET Honors. The seventh annual event, held February 8 at the Warner Theatre in Washington, DC, celebrated the achievements of African Americans in music, literature, entertainment, media, service and education. The show premieres around the world on BET’s international network Feb. 28.

Electrosonic Upgrades Video, Audio System in Texas Spirit Theater

AUSTIN, TX -- Electrosonic helped the Bullock Texas State History Museum upgrade its 190-seat 4D Texas Spirit Theater recently. Although the original AV system, also installed by Electrosonic, was still functional, the gear was also a dozen years into its life cycle. For the refurbishment, Electrosonic replaced the existing show control system with an Alcorn McBride V16 Pro show controller and swapped out HD-MPEG video players in favor of a Dataton WATCHOUT video playback system. The project was complete in time for the Nov. 2013 premiere of the short film, Shipwrecked, which supports a new exhibition on the excavation of the barque La Belle, which sank off the Texas coast in 1686.
